Customer Service
The customer service staff position takes place in our shop in Damariscotta and includes interfacing with clients, guides, and delivery staff in order to provide excellent on water experiences for our clients. Employees in town are responsible for taking reservations, launching kayak trips on the Damariscotta River, loading boats to go on vehicles, and working on a team that strives to create excellent on water activities for a wide range of clients. This job does not include guiding but does provide the opportunity to do so when properly trained.

Delivery Driver
Midcoast Kayak is constantly moving boats around for our rental, lesson, and touring programs. This position requires a working knowledge of pulling trailers loaded with boats and a friendly attitude towards interfacing with clients at the drop off points. Drivers use the Midcoast Kayak van to conduct deliveries.

Sea Kayak Guides
Midcoast Kayak conducts the majority of our guided trips from our touring facility on Muscongus Bay. By far, the most popular trips are half day trips, but we also offer full day and overnight trips as well. We are looking for an easy going and self-motivated guide to work part time or full time and are flexible in accommodating your schedule. A Maine Sea Kayak Guide license is required for this position.

Positions can be combined for those interested in multiple responsibilities.
